While some people are interested in the newest movies or sports games, I enjoy learning about different cars and their history.

Today, many luxury cars from the mid-1900s sell for more than double their original prices. At auctions, cars can sell for millions of dollars, or a few thousand. Many of these cars sold for high prices at auctions held in the last couple of years. Classic cars are sold in auctions for crazy amounts of money. These luxury cars sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars (some millions), much higher than their original prices in the 1950s and 1960s.

The BMW 507 was produced in the 1950s. It was not popular at the time, but now the car sells for millions. In 2018, this car sold for $5,034,692 at an auction. In the 50s, this car was worth between $9,000 and $10,000 dollars ($99,000 to $110,000 in 2021). At a Bonham auction, this extremely rare BMW sold for twice as much as it was predicted to sell. It sold for more than 2 million dollars more than the highest price a BMW 507 was ever sold for, at the time being $2,207,500.

Another car auctioned is the Mercedes Benz 190SL. The Mercedes Benz 190SL was a car produced between 1955 and 1963, and originally sold for $3,998 dollars ($39,700 in 2021). The most recently auctioned Mercedes 190SL was sold on May 28th, 2021, and it was a 1960 model. The next auction for this car will be June 9th, 2021 and more auctions will be held over the summer. This car sold for $101,200 at a Westchester auction on May 28th of this year.

On August 20th-29th, there will be a car show held where you will be able to see many cars. It will be held in the Javits Center in New York City. In May 2017, I went to a car show in New York and got to see many different cars and sit in some of my favorite ones.

There are many different types of cars, and people each have a favorite. Maybe you can see which car is your new favorite.
