It’s always hectic during the holiday season, shopping, purchasing gifts, and most importantly, creating a wishlist. Frustration fills my mind when trying to come up with items I want, especially when celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas. It can be challenging to determine what you want most. Do you want clothes, makeup, or shoes? The possibilities are endless!
Peighton Miller stated, “It’s difficult to create my wishlist because I somehow have the things I want already, and I am forgetful of the items I have.”
A wishlist is important to have since you can prioritize the items you want, and keeping track helps you not purchase the same things twice.
You can’t always get whatever you want for the holidays. Items tend to sell out quickly online and in stores, and sticking to a certain budget plays a huge role during this time. Having a budget can reduce the chance of overspending your money, and you can total everything up when you complete your list.
Allie Deorio claimed, “Having a budget is helpful because you know what to ask for because you have to stay in a certain range. Also, budgets can make gift giving more accessible because some people can’t afford ridiculous budgets.”
In addition to a budget being helpful to create a wishlist, the structure of a wishlist is important, too.
According to the xTiles article on the “Ultimate Christmas Wishlist Guide”, “A well-structured wish list can make the Christmas shopping process easier and more fun for both the recipient and the giver.”
From a buyer’s perspective, a wishlist is beneficial to have since they can search online or in person for what the receiver exactly wants.
As December approaches, get a head start on your wishlists!
