Spring break for students in Emerson will take place from April 13–19, giving students a full week off to relax, hang out with friends, and take a break from school.
After months of schoolwork, a lot of students are looking forward to having time off. Some are planning trips, but many are staying local and just enjoying the chance to sleep in and not worry about school.
Spring break is a much-needed break before the final stretch of the year. Whether students are traveling or staying home, most are just eager to have time to relax and do what they want.
Talking about what he’s most excited for, Nate Caiola said, “I’m most excited to just relax and take a break from school.”
One of the biggest things students are looking forward to is catching up on sleep and not having to wake up early every day. For many, the break is a chance to slow down after a busy few months.
Sharing what he’s looking forward to most during the week, Caiola said, “I’m also excited to not have to wake up early every day.”
Even without big travel plans, students still have ways to stay busy. Hanging out with friends, going out locally, and just enjoying free time are some of the most common plans.
Explaining how he intends to spend his break, Caiola said, “I’m planning to hang out with friends, sleep in, and maybe go out a few days during the break.”
Some students also plan to go out for a day or two during the week, whether that means going to the mall or grabbing food with friends.
Talking about possible plans, Caiola said, “I might try to go somewhere for a day, like the mall or out to eat with friends.”
“I’m just looking forward to having no school and enjoying the time off,” Caiola said.
