The River Dell Hockey team is off to a great start. They had one game so far and won our game 7-2 against High Point Regional on Saturday November 16th. They had over 20 shots in the first period. They had more than 15 shots in the second period and more than 5 shots in the third period. 

The team is really good this year. They have 6 seniors, 5 juniors, 15 sophomores, and 4 freshman. River Dell is one team combined with three schools which are Emerson, River Dell, and Westwood. Emerson combined with River Dell and Westwood last year. 

They have practice everyday Monday-Saturday. They have on ice practice Monday and Wednesday. Then they have off-ice practices Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On ice practice on Monday is 5:10 – 6:10 PM. Wednesday’s on-ice practice is 4:30 – 5:45 PM. Then all off-ice practice Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday is 5:00 – 6:00 PM. Saturday’s off-ice practice is 10:00 – 11:00 AM.

The team is expecting to have a great season and hope to win states.
