Halloween is a nationwide holiday that falls on October 31. It is a holiday where friends and family go around their town, knocking on doors for candy with their costumes they choose to wear. People across the U.S. were all ready for the excitement that Halloween brings as kids and adults prepared for a night of costumes, candy, and thrills.
This year’s celebration included everything from spooky decorations and themed parties, to neighborhood trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treating, and haunted houses. Many types of costumes were worn – from animals to superheroes, from TV characters to music artists, and much more.
In Emerson NJ, there were lots of families and children all around town trick or treating, having fun, and enjoying their night. The Emerson Police Department did an excellent job patrolling the streets, keeping everyone safe, and making sure nothing got out of hand. All of the Halloween house decorations around town were outstanding. Each and every one of them were unique in their own way.
When asked how their Halloween went, John Piccirillo stated, “ My Halloween was good. My favorite part was spending it with my friends.”
Spending Halloween with friends is always a good time.
Halloween is a holiday that is like no other, making it one of the best in the country. With Halloween expanding from a single night into a season of festivities, it’s clear America’s love for the spooky holiday is as strong as ever.
