Have you ever wanted to check out a book from our school’s media center, but did not know how to do it? If so, this article is the answer to your question. Like true investigative reporters, we went around asking teachers, support staff, and an administrator whether or not they knew how to check out books from our school’s media center. Ultimately, Ms. Diebner, EHS’s Administrative Assistant for School Counseling, and the District Registrar for Emerson Public Schools, was the one who gave us the information regarding the process of checking out books. 

Students and faculty members are allowed to check books in or out every day from 11:30 am-12:00 pm. Ms. Diebner will be at the library desk to help you out. She’s friendly, approachable, and has been a vital part of our school for 21 years!  So the next time you are in need of a good read, go check out the library and check out a book.
