Top 5 Best Places for French Fries

Isabella Winograd, Writer

I went to five different fast food places around the area and asked for a small french fry to try. I went to McDonalds, Chick Fil A, Wendys, Burger King, and Popeyes. I chose these places because these are the top 5 that popped into my head when I thought of fast food.

MCDONALDS:

Crunch: 7/10

Salt: 2/10 too salty

Taste: 8/10

Price: $2.29 +tax

Service: 9/10

I went to McDonalds on Route 17 near Popeyes. There was no wait line. Their fries taste good when they are paired with either ketchup or sweet and sour sauce.

CHICK FIL A:

Crunch: 6/10

Salt: 2/10 too salty

Taste: 9/10

Price: $1.55+tax

Service: 10/10

I went to the Chick Fil A in Ramsey. There was barely any line. When getting anything from Chick Fil A, I also pair it with Chick Fil A sauce. If you have never tried it, you definitely need to.

WENDYS:

Crunch: 8/10

Salt: 9/10

Taste: 7/10

Price: $2.09+tax

Service: 8/10

I went to the Wendy’s in Hillsdale. There was no line. I would pair these french fries with ketchup.

BURGER KING:

Crunch: 6/10

Salt: 7/10

Taste: 5/10

Price: $1.79+tax

Service: 9/10

I went to the Burger King in Park Ridge. I would pair these with ketchup as well.

POPEYES:

Crunch: 4/10

Salt: 10/10

Taste: 8/10

Price: $1.79+tax

Service: 9/10

I went to the Popeyes on Route 17 in Paramus right by the Panera next door. I paired these fries with ketchup.

Out of these 5, Chick Fil A is definitely my favorite and the best out of all the places I went to. I paired all of these items with a sauce but the original taste was very delicious.
