The Four Best Restaurants in Miami

Miami, Florida, is the home to some of the best restaurants and these are some of the best in my opinion. These restaurants are all swanky and they have different cuisines. I decided on these four because I have been so many restaurants in Miami, and these restaurants stuck out to me because of the food, staff, and ambiance.

The first restaurant is called Barton G. This restaurant is a chain and is also located in Los Angeles, California, and soon, it will open in New York City. This restaurant is known for its crazy and over-the-top presentations. For instance, they have delicious sliders which come out with a baseball bat and cap with the name of the restaurant on it that the customer gets to keep.

My go-to dish at Barton G. is the filet mignon which comes with a three foot fork sticking out of the platter. A classic dessert there is the Sabrina sundae which contains at least 20 scoops of ice cream and comes out sparkling. Aside from these two dishes, there are other amazing options here and anyone will be able to find something they would like. The waiters and waitresses are always very kind and cordial, and are helpful in picking out the best meals.

The next restaurant is called Komodo and it is a Southeast Asian cuisine. This restaurant is very swanky, and it is common to spot a celebrity dining here. There are various great dishes here, ranging from the duck lettuce wraps and dim sum dumplings appetizers to the sushi. I ate a delicious salmon roll there with their special soy sauce.

The vibe when I first walked in was unmatched, even during the times in the pandemic. The music is loud and there are crowds of people waiting to be seated. The staff is extremely friendly, and they were very helpful in choosing what to eat for dinner and dessert.

Then, there is Novikov which is an Asian Fusion restaurant located in Downtown Miami. When I first approached the restaurant, I was impressed by the front of it because there is a nicely landscaped area with huge letters spelling out the restaurant. There was another lit up sign before I entered the restaurant and it was purple-tinted.

There was a short wait for me, but it was worth it. I ordered the duck bao buns which were delicious as well as other dishes. However, the dessert is what stuck out the most. It was a lava cake oozing out chocolate with ginger ice cream and a hard chocolate structure sprinkled with gold flakes. It was extremely delicious and different from any other dessert I have had in Miami.

The final restaurant that is a must-visit, but only after 9:00 p.m., is Kiki on the River. It is a Greek restaurant with a club-vibe that is unmatched. There is a heart flower wall when you first walk in reading, “Kiki Do You Love Me?” and it is an iconic photo spot. At around 9:00, they start to blast the music, the staff hands out captain hats to everyone, and people are constantly waving their napkins in the air.

The food at Kiki is delicious as well. The Kiki Chips are fried zucchini and they come with an amazing tzatziki dip. The lamb chops there are also delicious. In addition, the owner of the restaurant is so kind and was able to secure a reservation for my family on such short notice. He came over to our table and thanked us for being loyal to his restaurant and he even bought our whole table drinks.

These are just some of the best restaurants in Miami, and each of them are special in their own way.
