It’s 5 pm and you are considering starving off your growing hunger pains with something greasy and salty until your parents come home to make dinner.bBut of the many fast food options, which will satisfy your craving best? That’s easy: Chick-fil-A

When it comes to chicken sandwiches Chick-fil-A is  the best fast food restaurant because they care about their customers and they serve 100% real, boneless chicken.

Chick-fil-A is one of the largest fast food restaurant chains and is the home of the Original Chicken Sandwich. Everyday restaurants across the country prepare and serve thousands of pounds of food. 

According to the Chick-fil-A website they use, “100% real, whole, boneless breast of chicken that has never been ground or separated, and contains no fillers or added steroids or hormones.” 

Chick-fil-A should be on your short order list, not only because of the amazing taste, but also because the company donates surplus food to charities. Team members from Chick-fil-A are always looking out for the  community by reducing food waste. In 2012, they started the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program and it has grown ever since. Team members package and send numerous amounts of food to shelters, charities, and soup kitchens with the help of Food Donation Connection.

According to the Chick-fil-A website,“To date, our partner organizations have served 9  million meals to those in need from food donated through the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program.” 

Chick-fil-A also stands out from other restaurants because they use a “cook less, more often” to reduce food waste. Instead of cooking their food all at once, sandwiches are made throughout the day. This means food is fresher and it means less food will be wasted.  

Some people say Popeyes is better because of their flavorful chicken sandwich; however their chicken can be greasy. 

“Chick-fil-A is more healthy and the staff are very respectful and sweet and the food is delicious. Popeyes is not as healthy as Chick fil a and the food quality is not the best. The restaurant is not very clean and is greasy” said Emerson freshman Alexa Guglielmi.

So next time you are craving a chicken sandwich and fries, head over to Chick-fil-A. It is not only the best fast food restaurant  because of their great food but also because they  have great service. Chick-fil-A will forever be on my  go to list when wanting delicious food.
