The 2020-2021 college basketball season was a much different experience for everyone who plays at the elite level. Many teams had a really rough season and some teams like Gonzaga had a really good season. Gonzaga went through the whole season without losing to a team the whole year except in the National Championship against Baylor University. In that game, Baylor was physically just so much bigger than Gonzaga was and the Gonzaga team could not stop Baylor physically. 

Gonzaga was led by point guard Jalen Suggs who is from St.Paul, Minnesota. Jalen Suggs was a great leader for the Gonzaga Bulldogs this year; he is a tough kid and plays with his heart. He made some key plays for the Bulldogs in the Final Four, in the NCAA tournament, and it was obvious that he really wanted to win that game against a tough UCLA team. 

Gonzaga was also dominant this whole year due to the fact of having Drew Timme and Corey Kispert on the team. Those two players are very efficient players and play very well together. Not one coach would not want to have those two players on their team because they just do everything on the court and benefit the team in so many different ways. Drew Timme won the Karl Malone award and Corey Kispert won the Julius Erving award as well, which are the best awards to get in their positions in all of college basketball. Gonzaga this season really dominated almost every single team that was in their path of getting that championship. 

The performances from the three of those players really helped Gonzaga win 31 games this season and only lose one game this whole entire year, including the playoffs. The only game they lost was the championship against a very tough team in Baylor. The last time a college basketball team went undefeated the season was when UCLA went 30-0 in 1966. If Gonzaga pulled this off it would have been tremendous for their school and a lot of those players deserved to have an undefeated season. Since those three players on Gonzaga, Jalen Suggs, Corey Kispert, and Drew Timme will most likely go into the NBA draft, we will most likely not see this again next from the Gonzaga Bulldogs next season. This season from the Zags will be remembered and someone will have an undefeated season soon. have an undefeated season soon.
