I decided to review these four  places for lunch to see which ones have the best food, a reasonable wait time, price and good taste. The places I am going to are Playa bowls, Chick Fil A, Shortrounds ,and Crecco’s cafe. 

1. Playa Bowls

Playa Bowls in Westwood is a smoothie and smoothie bowls place. The different types of products they offer include açai bowls, coconut bowls, pitaya bowls, green bowls, smoothies, and juices. You can add different toppings like fruit, nutella, proteins and other things. The great vibe and decor at Playa Bowls makes it a great customer experience. Playa Bowls are always satisfying  and are very refreshing. It is a great choice for lunch or anytime you are hungry. 

Wait time: 5 Minutes 

Price: $11-14 for the bowls, $6-9 for smoothies.

1. Chick Fil A

Chick-fil-A is one of the largest American fast food restaurant chains and the largest whose specialty is chicken sandwiches. Some things on the menu include chicken sandwich, nuggets, fries, spicy sandwich, and milkshakes. The closest locations to Emerson are in Ramsey and in Paramus. One downside to Chick fil a is that the drive-thru line is always packed and you will have to wait awhile, but that is how you know it is good!

Wait Time: 25 Minutes 

Price: Usually you will spend $5-13 dollars

1. Shortrounds 

Shortrounds is a very popular lunch place in the center of Emerson. It is convenient because it is only a few minutes away from Emerson High School. They have breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, paninis, different types of specialty sandwiches, soups and salads. Although their food is amazing, the parking lot in front of Shortrounds is tight and does not have much room. 

Wait time: (Calling ahead) 20-30 minutes 

Price: $5-12

1. Crecco’s Cafe

Crecco’s cafe in River Vale is a popular place to eat and has great food. Some things on the menu include sandwiches, salads, pizza and pasta. Personally, my favorite is the margherita pizza with an order of garlic knots. The outdoor seating is very nice and they do pickup and delivery.

Overall all these places were great and have good food so I recommend any of them for lunch. Playa bowls is my favorite.
