College athletes have to constantly maintain and balance their education and sports. People started to realize trying to chase your dreams and meeting all of the school requirements, like maintaining good ,grades is a struggle. Many college athletes around the United States of America have to figure out a way to have effective time management. Why this has caught so many people’s attention is because this is a lot for teens to balance. People do not realize how hard it is to complete assignments with long hours of practice on top of them.

“It often is a huge stress having to manage everything from long essay’s to being sore from practice,” a source from Penn State  said.

You can tell that these student athletes are constantly stressed about how they are going to find time to hand in assignments. On top of that, they have to recover from hard practices and put in extra effort. This is only a little bit of the stress an athlete has to go through.

“If you do not maintain a gpa over 3.0 they can take away your scholarship,” a source from the university of LSU said.

As you tell there are punishments if you do not maintain the school requirements. Plenty of these college athletes do not have the money for college, so scholarships are what they rely on to have opportunities for an amazing future.

These college athletes continue to make sacrifices, like leaving their families and trying to provide for them in the long run. Many college athletes sometimes even drop out or lose sleep over how they are going to complete school work, be on time for practice, and be on time for classes. At the end of the day, it is all going to be worth it in the end. And that is the most important part to remember because all that hard work will pay off.
