With the release of the new Tesla truck right around the corner, everyone is excited to see what all the hype is over. The new shape and design of the truck is already enough to turn heads and get attention, but with the addition of the bullet proof glass windows, consumers everywhere are obsessing over this new Tesla release. This futuristic piece of machinery is the first of its kind, and exciting to say the least.

However, during the release of the new Tesla truck, a window was smashed. The truck was advertised to have bullet proof windows. After showing the glass separate from the truck being able to withstand the weight being dropped on it, Elon Musk went to the live demonstration. During the live, demonstration Elon Musk took the same weight and threw it at the driver’s side window. The drivers window shattered immediately.

According to Elon Musk, the price of this new beast is $39,900. This new truck is not only electric, but it can do everything a normal pickup can do. During a truck vs. truck pulling match the Tesla truck pulled a Ford Raptor uphill. The towing power is over 14,000 pounds unlike the ford raptor which is only 13,500 pounds. In addition to the towing power while driving this the Tesla truck customers saving the environment.

The first electric car was made in 1890; now, in 2019, the first ever electric truck has been released. In 1890, top speed was 14 mph and there was no market for this kind of equipment yet. Now the top speed of the first electric pickup truck is 130 mph and can go from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds. The Ferrari Laferrari of 2014 went 0-60 in 2.4 seconds; this beast went for the low low price of 2.2 million dollars. Now, for a fraction of the price, one can arguably own the most versatile driving machine on the road. This truck can also be safely taken off-roading without having to worry about the wear-and-tear on the vehicle. For forty thousand dollars, consumers can drive into the new decade with this futuristic vehicle.
