Stylist by Day, Insurance Provider by Night, What a Catch!

Daniel Dobrolowicz is a 34-year old young entrepreneur chasing his dreams with his wife and three kids. He has always had a passion to try the impossible but keeps his life in the most organized fashion he can.  Ha admits, “Having three kids might be a struggle…but keeping myself afloat mentally is my main struggle.”

Daniel does not see his family as a challenge, he loves them deeply, only just recently having his third, the first little girl in the family. A business owner and with an insurance company of his own, what could be harder than that? Well, we asked Daniel how and why he does what he does, and where did it all come from?

“I took over my family business 3 years ago and I feel it was the big push that matured me into the person I am today”, he shares. Daniel does not just own the small business, but also works in it! He thinks it’s best to interact and greet each customer directly to make them feel welcome, and give them an experience like no other.

“I personally started doing hair at a very young age. I learned the formulas and techniques of styling hair in this very business. My mother was kind enough to give me the chance to be the person I am today, and I thank her for everything she left me”.

A lot of people think it’s easy as Daniel was left with the business, all he has to do is keep tabs and restock right? Well, not exactly. All the paperwork, bills, and any issues that arise within the business fall completely on his shoulders. His ways of coping, as he describes it, are found through his faith.

“How I cope with such a great amount of responsibility on me is my religion. I am a practicing Christian who regularly goes to church and I put my hands on these walls after each day, praying for the business and my workers to one day flourish.” Such touching words by Daniel! You won’t catch an appointment with Daniel on Sunday morning, because “Church is always first,” as he states.

In his free time, he likes to spend time with his kids and drill holes in frozen lakes! Why? Well of course he’s also your local fisherman from next door. Daniel started fishing at the age of seven with his father, and it was always a passionate hobby of his since then. Unfortunately, after his father’s passing, he would fish alone.

“After my father died, I couldn’t let it consume me because…the business would have been in shambles….I couldn’t leave my family in worry.” Daniel believes everything happens for a reason and there was no time to cry in the corner; he had to “be the man who is unstoppable with God by my side.”

It is fascinating to explore the lives of others, even the lives of our own bosses.
