The Emerson Softball team continues to roll as they put the clamps on Cresskill with a decisive 17-0 victory. The Emerson Softball team travelled to Cresskill to battle a strong league opponent. This was a very important win for the cavos as they improve their league record to 6-1, and hold their position at the top of the Patriot League. This statement win declared the cavos not to be messed with.

The team started the game hot, led by junior karly manning leading the team with a couple hits and an RBI. The cavos put up a pair of runs in each of the first two innings. The offense then exploded in the third with 10 total runs.

After another 4 runs in the fourth, it was enough for cresskill to surrender. THe game was cut short at 5 innings because of the Cavos immense lead.

Senior captain, Bella Ellis spoke of the importance of this win, “It was a super important game for the league, I’m glad the offense stepped up today and got a big win!”

The seniors want to end the season strong and make a good run for the league title.

“After this game, we have all the confidence in the world”, Bella continued.

The cavos look to end the season strong, as the season comes to a close.
