The Emerson Jr/Sr High School volleyball season has come to an end. They had 6 wins and 12 losses. They have worked very hard this season and were taught many new things by their new coaches.

Bella DelValle, one of the girls varsity volleyball players, said this about the season: “We had a little bit of a rough start, but I feel like once we really started to know each other and become close friends, we grew as a team and as people, which allowed us to work better together and be able to win games. Our new coaches and team members have really contributed to the team and we have all progressed so much since the start of the season.”

It wasn’t that bad as the season went on. We all progressed in our different ways”

A JV player, Lianna Isakhanian, also said this about the season: “It wasn’t that bad as the season went on. We all progressed in our different ways and we accomplished our goals as a team. We tried our hardest to win our games and work really hard during practice.”

The girls are excited about next season and are proud of their last season, but are going to work harder next year so they get more wins!
