Senior Night at Emerson Junior Senior High School is all about celebrating the senior athletes and looking back at all of their successes during the past years. During his year’s Senior Night, families and fellow students came to support the EHS girls volleyball team.

The junior varsity girls showed their appreciation by giving gifts and flowers to the seniors who set great examples to the younger players because they work hard and never gave up until the end of the game.

At the ceremony, senior Raquel Guevarra said she was was “super excited yet really sad” to be playing her last couple of games with her teammates at EHS.

Guevarra has played volleyball for four years and was such an exceptional player that the head coach placed her in varsity as one of the youngest girls on the team. Guevarra is an outside hitter, and one of the best on the team.

She is very excited for the volleyball tournaments because it allows her to give it her all and play with her teammates for the very last time as a senior. Guevarra has set a superb example to all of the junior varsity girls because she works hard and is committed to her team.

Senior Night was a night of celebration and looking back, and honoring the seniors that helped make the teams at Emerson the best that they can be!
